About & Contact

Marie sold her property in 2011 to Julie and Jim.

We are grateful to Julie and Jim for allowing us to continue the test-trial work.

Please scroll down to see the progressive results as follows on this property:
  • "Feeder Tree" shown in successive visits.
  • 2 Significant Trees:  "L'il Pardner" and "Lone Star" shown in side-by-side comparisons.
  • Aspens suffering from Aspen Decline in a multi-acre grove
For a detailed explanation of Dr. Jim's findings, please go to the Colorado Pines main page.

"Feeder" Tree in front of the House

1st Visit: Late October, 2007
As of 2007, Marie's property was in one of the hardest hit areas of Colorado: Grand County. Mountainsides were red with dying Lodgepole Pines by the time Dr. Jim Conroy and Ms. Basia Alexander were invited there by concerned residents.  Piles of cut trees littered the landscape.

The Lodgepole Pine where Dr. Jim Conroy, The Tree Whisperer, is seen working (in a blue jacket) is across from Marie's front door and at the top of a slope containing hundreds of small to medium size trees.  We call this tree the "Feeder Tree" because it has a bird feeder and two birdhouses  hanging in it.

Another tree in the far left of the shot is mostly green, but look closely to see brown tips already on this tree.  The brown tips indicate that it is in early stages of decline.

2nd Trip: May, 2008

The "Birdhouse Tree" is doing well.  It came through the winter and is green with new growth.

The other tree that showed signs of a few red needles has progressed toward death.

In the photo below, note the bird houses and the new, lush growth of needles.

3rd trip: October, 2008

The "Birdhouse Tree" has gone through another "fly" of the Pine Bark beetles.  It is still green and shows lush growth.  There are no signs of reddening of the needles.

Note that the surrounding trees are similarly green.

The 4th Trip:  June, 2009

Significant Tree:  "L'il Pardner"

The pictures above show Dr. Jim Conroy touching and healing the "Birdhouse Tree" as a part of his holistic healing work.

"L'il Pardner" is another tree on Marie's property.  What is noteable about this tree is that Dr. Jim did not specifically touch this tree.  "L'il Pardner" is simply nearby but received treatment anyway since it is in the Lodge Pole Pine community of trees.
